Angels Linedance Club started back in July 2007 as a monthly linedance social.
A pub in Hayes, called "The Angel" was kind enough to let us use their function room on a Friday night... and so our club name "Angels" was born.
Angels LDC started their first weekly class in 2007 and then a second weekly class in January 2013, and a third weekly class in April 2015. Two further classes
were started in January 2017 and a sixth class in 2021.

Profile
My name is Lorraine Monahan and I have been teaching Linedancing since 2007 and currently have five classes a week.
I started Linedancing back in 1994 and after my first class I was totally hooked.
Linedancing means the world to me, I cannot imagine my life without it. I have the most wonderful friends and your never alone or short of amazing places to go dancing. Teaching Linedance is my passion and the best feeling in the world and watching my dancers spread their wings and dance all by themselves, knowing I had a part in that is just the best feeling ever.
My favourite dance styles are Rolling 8 count and Waltz time although I do love all genres of music. If it has a beat then I tap my feet :)

Profile
My name is Debbie Mabbs and I have been Linedancing since 1993. I love all genres of music and love teaching the funky dances. I teach twice weekly Tuesday & Wednesday evenings as I work full time.
By Day I am a Regional Manager and work in the Parking Industry and have 50+ staff that work for me.
I love what I do and no two days are the same. It's a challenging job but I escape by dancing.
In addition to teaching I DJ at all our events and workshops which is a real passion of mine as I love music. I also DJ at other Linedance events.
Achievements
I was nominated for my Improver dance - Don't Worry Be Happy in 2020 & 2021 and was lucky enough to attend the CBA's 2022 as a nominee and danced in the nominee parade which was absolutely amazing and a tick on my bucket list. Dream come true moment. Then in 2023 myself and Lorraine were both nominated with our dance My Somebody and nominated as Rising Stars and attended the CBA's Awards 2023 and danced in the nominee parade which was amazing as I got to experience it again but this time with Lorraine, surreal moment.
2023 was a great year for me and Lorraine as we were nominated for the Grass Root Instructors under Everything Linedance - UKLDA Awards and WON. What an amazing feeling to be recognised for what we love to do and is our passion.
We have also been nominated for the CBA's Awards - 2024 for UK Instructor, UK Choreographer and for two of our dances in the Advanced Dance Category.
Up & Try by me and Lorraine and Spirits & Demons - Co Choregraphed with our very good friend Kim Ray, Lorraine and myself.
